Covered Steel Horse Feeder — Dry Hay, Every Bale

Moldy hay is a real risk for horses. This covered feeder keeps every bale dry and off the ground, so what you feed is what you paid for.

Choose 1-bale or 2-bale to suit your herd.

How it works Swinging side doors let you load round bales, or square bales if that's what you feed.

The remaining side panels unlock and press down on the bales as the hay is eaten, holding loose strands in place so less ends up on the ground.

• Frame: 1 ½" Schedule 40 steel pipe
• Roof: 10' wide tin, sized to keep weather off the hay
• Ships as one solid unit. No assembly required at your place.
• Standard color is Red Oxide primer

Because of its width, this one may need specialized transport. We'll tell you before anything ships.

Made by hand in Alabama on a 1,000-acre beef and bison farm, by farmers and for farmers. 

Because these are hand-made in small batches, allow one to two weeks from order date. We'll email you within 24 hours with an expected ship or pickup date. 

Pickup is free at our manufacturing facility in Piedmont, Alabama. If you need it delivered, freight is quoted separately by a local carrier based on your address and invoiced after your order.
